About Sharon Rowse

Sharon Rowse has always loved mysteries and writing.  She has a degree in history with an emphasis on the development of the North American West and a fascination with gold rushes, especially the Klondike Gold Rush of 1897 and the Fraser River Gold Rush of 1858.  Sharon is a member of Mystery Writers of America and CrimeWriters of Canada and lives in Vancouver, BC.

The Silk Train Murder is the start of a series featuring John Lansdowne Granville and Emily Turner.  Sharon is currently having fun researching and writing the sequel, which involves a lost mine, an unnamed heir and a missing child.  Granville and Emily are back, along with Turn of the Century balls, avalanches, ornery mules, smugglers, orphan trains and typewriting classes.
